Mr. & Mrs. Treat

Back in July on a really, really hot day Sara & Zack said 'I Do' and JHP was lucky enough to get to capture their day from beginning to end!  I've known Sara since she and my sister were in high school together and over the years our paths have seemed to cross more and more.  In fact, one of my longest friends married Sara's brother and over the last couple of years I have gotten to know the rest of Sara's family and take pictures for them along the way.  Talk about an awesome family!

Last fall I met Zack for the first time during a family photo session and it was evident to me right away that these two were perfect together!  Fast forward a few months and we were out on a cold December day shooting engagement pictures and then discussing wedding plans!  The last year not only included wedding planning for this couple but also a job change, relocation and Med school!  Whoa! But don't think for a second that any of that slowed them down - because it didn't and their day turned out perfect!  Check out some highlights from their beautiful wedding!

I met up with the girls at the salon in downtown St. Charles in the morning to get a few shots of them getting hair and makeup done.  Such a fun group of girls!  Then we headed over to First Baptist Church Harvester for the ceremony.  The bridal room was SOOO cute! Zack & Sara didn't want to see each other before the wedding but they did want to get a photo holding hands before and it was the sweetest thing EVER! After the ceremony we headed down to New Town to take some fun pictures with the bridal party.  Man o man was it HOT out!  LIke 100-degrees-melting-as-soon-as-you-step-out-of-the-car hot!  But everyone was a trooper and we got some great shots!  We then ended the night at All Occasions Banquet Center where everyone had a blast at the reception and danced the night away and enjoyed cake and other treats (see what they did there?!)

Zack & Sara - Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your day!  I can't say enough how smooth everything went which is 100% a reflection of the time and effort you put into planning.  Every aspect was absolutely beautiful and your family and friends are so much fun to be around!   I am so excited to see what your future together holds and wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
