Kasey | St. Charles, MO Senior Session

I'm in love with this session and I'm going to tell you why.  Because Kasey is one of the coolest seniors I've worked with this year and we had so much fun at her session, that's why!  I met Kasey through her mom Kathy who I have worked with for the last 8 years.  Over the years I've gotten to know Kathy and have heard so many stories about Kasey and her brother and also learned that we have a lot in common like going to the same grade school (Go Eagles!), so I was really excited to actually get to meet Kasey and get to know her.  I'm happy to report that she is as sweet as her mama and that we found out we have a mutual love for the Pacific Northwest!  

Kasey is headed to Kansas State in the fall to pursue a degree in zoology.  How cool is that? I was never great at science, but I always thought being a marine biologist or working at a zoo would be awesome!  Because she loves animals and the outdoors so much Kasey wanted to shoot her session at Busch Wildlife Conservation Area and it was perfect!  I hadn't been out there since I was a child and I forgot how amazing it is!  The trees and lakes were the perfect backdrop for this pretty girl's senior photos!

Can we just pause for a minute and admire Kasey's hair?  It's beautiful and I'm totally jealous!  The golden light at sunset coming through the trees was the perfect accent! And in case you were wondering, that is her NATURAL CURL!!! Jealous!

Kasey - I'm so glad we finally got to meet and I'm so excited to hear all about your adventures in the years to come!  I know you will go far and I can't wait to come visit you at the zoo - it doesn't matter which one - I love them all!!!  Thanks so much for letting me snap these photos for you!
