Kristen & Nick | Minneapolis, MN Lifestyle Session
Back in January Matt and I decided to plan a summer vacation to Minneapolis, MN. Neither of us had ever been there, but we do know a few people in the area and we thought it would be a nice road trip for the two of us! Shortly after deciding on our destination we called our friend Kristen and her boyfriend Nick and told them we would be up their way in July and they were nice enough to let us stay with them - for a whole week!
Kristen is a college friend of ours and we sadly haven't gotten to spend much time together since we graduated, but we definitely made up for lost time! And we also got to know Nick and their two dogs Odin and Freya and we. had. a. blast!!! These two are the perfect pair! Over the course of the week we spent plenty of time catching up, seeing their city and neighborhood and enjoying the beautiful weather! As a thank you for letting us stay with them for the week we spent our last night in Minneapolis doing a photo shoot and cooking dinner at their house.
Nick and Kristen have spent a lot of time over the last couple of years rehabbing their house and it turned out amazing! Matt and I were pretty jealous of the covered front porch! Their most recent project was landscaping the backyard and we loved spending time out there. What is so neat about their neighborhood is how close everyone is. In fact, one of the neighbors helped them design the landscaping. And did I mention that Nick is the talented owner of KNO Woodworks? His handywork in their backyard includes, but is not limited to, the fence and pergola! If you are in Minneapolis and need a new fence or other work done you should definitely get in touch with him. He not only brings craftsmanship to the table, but this guy is the most genuine, energetic person you will ever meet! We finished up their session in the new backyard with their fur babies!
Nick & Kristen - We really can't thank you guys enough for your hospitality during our stay in Minneapolis! You two are the perfect match and we had so much fun catching up with you and seeing the city! We promise to come visit again soon ;)
